The Cocoon

The world is filled with outer stimuli, so much that it can become overwhelming, a constant battle between the outside world and the inside of the mind.
Based on the idea of soft sensory play for children with autism, the cocoon takes away the boundaries of age, inviting the viewer to explore and play.
Inside the cocoon is a space of safety, using stimuli meant to calm the restless mind and disengage from the outside world within a sensory cage that becomes a space to regulate overstimulation.
